Crocheted Yoda Coffee Sleeve

It's a snow day here in Atlanta - a "State of Emergency" is what they are calling it on the news. The road conditions are scary. However, now that I am at home, it leaves time for crafting.

I made some Valentine's Day Coffee Sleeves the other day. Those were a super fun, quick project! Feeling on a roll, I've been pinning new projects. One project I saw was this Yoda Coffee Sleeve.  So cute! I made my own for T, which I'm going to pair with a very cute Death Star Ice Cube mold I found online.

To make this, I modified my Valentine's Day Coffee Sleeves pattern by making it 10 rows of single crochet, instead of 8.  I made little bobbles for the hands and feet. I don't have a good pattern for the head - I just winged it by crocheting in the round and adding two triangles for ears.  My one advice for eyes is use black thread. I used green at first for the button eyes, and it looked scary!

May your crafts be ever so salty.

P.S. In case you are looking for more coffee cozy ideas, Hello Kitty is always a cute option:
