It's definitely getting colder here! Thought it would be nice to have a slouchy hat in Patriot's colors (given that it's also football season)!
How to Make Your Own:
- Pattern. I used Anna and Heidi Pickle's pattern, From Norway with Love.
- Materials. Size 7 needles, worsted weight yarn, and a tapestry needle.
- Tips. To make this hat really slouchy, I cast on 112 for the ribbing and then increased to 120 stitches for the main hat body. My head is on the bigger side, so you could size down a little bit and still have a slouchy hat (just note you need to stick to multiples of 10). The one other thing to note is that you get a jog in the pattern if you follow it exactly. This didn't bother me too much, so I stuck to the pattern.
