Wedding Escort Cards

I love wedding escort cards. I made these to match our invitations.  It turns out that most major label makers sell materials that can be used for tent cards. Avery sells printable tent cards, but I wanted to use a silver tent card that would match our color scheme.  I considered using calligraphy for the cards (my amazing friend offered to letter ours), but I thought that could be a huge amount of work!

Materials:
1) Avery Clean Edge Business Cards
2) Heavy card stock. I used silver card stock.
3) Bone folder
4) Glue or tape. I use EK Success Glue because it changes colors to tell you how sticky it is. They have different tip sizes - the small is good for detailed projects, and the large tip makes big projects go faster. If you only buy one, go with the small tip (more versatile).
5) Stickers (optional) to indicate each person's chosen entrĂ©e. I used deep purple rhinestones and hearts.

I used my Cricut to cut out the tent cards. I used a bone folder to get a clean edge for folding the cards in half.  I then printed out one card for each guest (after adding an embellishment that matched our invitations), and I used a tape gun (ATG tape glider) to glue down the card onto the tent fold.  Then, I added stickers to indicate each entree choice. That's it! I recommend double and triple checking names!

I bought my Cricut Mini at Amazon because of the free shipping (and the prices were competitive). Ditto with all of the the craft materials above. However, feel free to shop around to get the best prices!
