Pumpkin Spice Baby Booties!

I love pumpkin spice latte season! In honor of the season, I knit some adorable pumpkin spice baby booties. I think these would be so cute for a Fall baby gift - and you could give the new mom a gift card to Starbucks to round out the present!

In case you'd like to make a pair as well, I used this pattern (I used her revised version, not the original version).

Materials used:
1. Worsted weight yarn - I think I used Vanna's Choice, but the yarn had no label in my stash!
2. Size 5 double pointed needles (I knit loosely - so you'll probably want to size up).

A few tips:
  • Before you sew up the booties, they look should look like a large letter "T."
  • You sew the booties inside out. The crossed part on the inside out side will come out crossed in the same direction when you turn it right side out.  I like having the two feet cross in opposite directions.
  • I'm a beginning knitter, and I had trouble with binding off. I used this tutorial.
  • I also had trouble figuring out how to sew things up!  I looked at this tutorial, but I ended up winging it a little bit.
